The Importance of Pollinators

Wednesday, May 6, 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm, 5 Little’s Lane, Newbury, Mass.  

Explore the farm on a butterfly safari, learn about native and non-native plant species, and get your hands dirty working in our pollinator garden. Throughout the morning, we will gather knowledge and materials to take home for use in creating our own attractive, environmentally sound, and nutrient rich habitats for vital pollinators such as bees and butterflies.

Homeschool Program
Ages 7-14. Science and History
Advance registration required. No registrations will be accepted on the day of the program. One adult per family admitted free, additional adults pay full price. Each program is limited to 24 people. These are not drop-off programs – children must be accompanied by an adult. Strollers and backpack carriers are not permitted in the house museums.
