Celebrate summer and join the party at Cocktails at the Castle, Historic New England’s annual fundraiser for Wiscasset’s own Castle Tucker on July 9 from 5:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m. Help preserve this unique historical treasure while you take in a spectacular view of the Sheepscot River and enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres from Back River Bistro.

Accessibility Considerations: There will be tables and chairs for seating outdoors. There are four steps to the entrance and a threshold into the house. There is a threshold and step into the visitor center and then three steps and a threshold into the house. Most rooms have an entrance threshold. There is one significant staircase from the first to the second floors. There is a step from the main hall into the kitchen and the main hall into the dining room. For those touring the inside of the house, there is limited seating in most of the rooms on tour. There is no accessible bathroom.
