Guided by historian and filmmaker Christopher Brown, visit distinctive modern buildings on the MIT campus, including the Saarinen Chapel. Learn how Modern movement designs by I. M. Pei, Eero Saarinen, Alvar Aalto, and others, shaped the campus between 1947 to 1976.
Christopher Brown is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, photographer, and history professional. He has a BA in Film from Emerson College (2003) and an MA in History from University of Massachusetts Boston (2022). Christopher will present the tour and is accompanied by tour facilitator Katherine Klowsoski; both are members of the Gropius House staff.
