Guided by historian and filmmaker Christopher Brown, visit distinctive modern buildings on the Harvard University campus and along Brattle Street’s "Architects’ Walk." Learn how Modern Movement designs by Josep Lluís Sert, Walter Gropius, Le Corbusier, Eleanor Raymond, and others shaped the area around Harvard between 1947 and 1973.
Christopher Brown is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, photographer, and history professional. He has a BA in Film from Emerson College (2003) and an MA in History from University of Massachusetts Boston (2022). Christopher will present the tour and is accompanied by tour facilitator Katherine Klowsoski; both are members of the Gropius House staff.
