South Berwick celebrates Pride Week! Now in its third exciting year, the Pride Garden Party gathers to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and allies. Join us for an enchanted afternoon of cocktails and light fare in the gardens while guests meet historic Maine author and LGBTQ icon Sarah Orne Jewett and her partner, Annie Fields, and a few of their inner circle. Party goers will marvel at a nineteenth-century entertainments, delight in live music, and participate in lawn games throughout the grounds. The first floor of the Sarah Orne Jewett House will be open for tours. Dressing up in Garden Party whites, seersucker, and nineteenth-century evocative encouraged.
