An Evening with Tripp Evans
Saturday, June 22, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Beauport, the Sleeper-McCann House, 75 Eastern Point Boulevard, Gloucester, Mass.
Join Historic New England and guest curator Tripp Evans to celebrate The Importance of Being Furnished: Four Bachelors at Home, the title shared by Evans’s new book and our latest exhibition. Beauport, with its stunning views of Gloucester Harbor, provides the perfect backdrop for a book signing and discussion of American interior design, including the work of Henry Davis Sleeper. End your evening with a visit to the Octagon Room, which is featured in the exhibition.
The Importance of Being Furnished: Four Bachelors at Home opens at the Eustis Estate in Milton, Massachusetts, on June 21.
