Langdon House, 143 Pleasant Street, Portsmouth, N.H.

Ona Judge, a young woman enslaved by George and Martha Washington, escaped and fled to New Hampshire. Learn her story and how her life intersected with Governor John Langdon and other members of his household. This program will include time in the Langdon House as well as a walking tour of downtown Portsmouth.

There must be a minimum of 5 children registered for programs to run. Programs are limited to 24 people. Full payment is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable (unless program is cancelled by us due to under-enrollment).

No registrations will be accepted on the day of the program.

One adult per family admitted free. It is not a drop-off program – children must be accompanied by an adult

Strollers and backpack carriers are not permitted in the house museums.
