Virtual Program- Through the Lens: Historic New England's Extraordinary Photography Collection

Please join Lorna Condon, Historic New England Senior Curator of Library and Archives, for a look at some of the most beautiful, engaging, humorous, and thought-provoking photographs in Historic New England’s extraordinary collection. Lorna will discuss images that record the rich diversity of life in the region from the 1840s to the present. She will share work of well-known professional photographers as well as that of amateurs and will highlight striking landscape views; outstanding images of architecture; depictions of people at work, at home, at play, and in the photographer’s studio; dazzling marine photographs; and scenes of life-changing projects and events.
