Monday, March 11, 6:00 p.m.
Historic New England’s collection contains numerous examples of painted and decorated surfaces from the 1700s and 1800s. Some of these colorful and fanciful objects were the products of small shops throughout New England, while others were the work of itinerant artists and skilled amateurs. Join Historic New England Curator Erica Lome to hear the stories about the people who took part in their creation and preservation.
