Homeschool Program: Winter Ecology at Casey Farm

Explore the unique ecology and features of winter at Casey Farm and the human and animal adaptations needed to survive the season. Through a series of demonstrations and activities, participants will learn to identify the winter weather cycle and how it impacts the animals living at and around Casey Farm. In the farmyard, students will learn how to track animals and identify scat, act out predator/prey relationships, play migration games, and discover the means needed for animal survival.

There must be a minimum of 5 children registered for programs to run. Programs are limited to 24 people. Full payment is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable (unless program is cancelled by us due to under-enrollment). No registrations will be accepted on the day of the program.
One adult per family admitted free. It is not a drop-off program – children must be accompanied by an adult.
